Scale of Distributions
An average size of distribution for Deya would be the delivery of 300,000 items weighing 1.4kgs in a two week period to businesses and homes in a targeted geographical area.
Deya has delivered as few as a 1,000 items where the items are over 1kg and
to a tightly defined geographical area. A regular delivery is of 50,000 magazines
to selected homes where whole streets are covered.
Deya's largest single delivery is 3.5M items weighing over 500gms to selected
postcode sectors down to individual postcodes that are within the Acorn defined
customer profile. This takes place over a four week period.
Prices
Deya has a minimum charge for a Solus delivery of £3,000 or 50,000 items to use
it's in-house operational facilities. If customers do not need a Solus distribution,
but wish to have their piece delivered with other items, Deya can book this on
the clients behalf at favourable rates.
Solus deliveries are from £105 per thousand plus dispersal costs. Shared deliveries using others are from £30 per thousand.
A door-to-door heavyweight
catalogue or directory will cost between £200
and £400
per thousand depending on the weight, targeting, location, density, time
sensitivity, volume and address information.
A delivery to selected addresses
only, that are
not door-to-door, will again vary considerably depending on the criteria
above. In general Deya services will only be competitive where a minimum
of 5% of a postcode
sector is nominated for delivery.
